Ms. Shalini Shah has joined the Heinrich Böll Foundation in September 2006 after working with Voluntary Development Organizations for more than 7 years.

She co-ordinates the initiated programme on ‘Gender and Trade’ which aims in supporting and capacitating civil society organizations to advocate for gender sensitive approach and analysis in trade policy making and implementation. The experience so far with Heinrich Böll Foundation highlights the need to further continue the work on shaping trade relations consistent with women’s rights, social justice and environmental sustainability objectives.

Her post-graduation is in Regional Planning from The School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi and another Masters in Geography from Punjab University, Chandigarh.
